At Mikes Plastic Bags Pty Ltd (MPB) the commitment to customer service has remained our focus for 35 years.

We manufacture quality industrial packaging, plain and printed and point of sale packaging. Through our passion for high level customer service, our high expectation of product quality and competitive pricing, we remai at the forefront of our goals.

Operated from a large factory site in Moorabbin Victoria, employing 30 people, we are proud to be a Family owned Australian company, supporting and supplying fellow Australian organizations since 1978.

ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT

Waste is minimized by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible.

Emissions are minimized through the continual review and evaluation of resource requirements.

We actively promote recycling both internally and amongst customers and suppliers.

At MPB we source and promote a product range to minimize the environmental impact of both production and distribution. At MPB we exceed all environmental legislations relative.

Use an accredited program to offset the greenhouse gas emissions generated by our activities.

COMPANY HISTORY

Since inception, MPB has been servicing the Food, Building, Agriculture, Manchester, Retail and general packaging industries.

Due to the MPB commitment to product quality and service, the company has grown over the years with consistent upgrades to plant and machinery.

The highlights of these upgrades has been the commissioning of a brand new, purpose built factory in 1998, a recent installation of a brand new, high quality 8 colour printing press and new high speed wicketting machine.

MEET THE TEAM

Mr. Mike Bokas commenced MPB some 35 years ago. His drive and ambition was infectious and not too long after inception he was joined by his son, Steve.

Today, the jointly run the enterprise, carefully and strategically planning for the dynamics of an ever-evolving marketplace. The believe in rewarding staff and working the team as a family. As a direct result of this, staff turnover is minimal and collectively they represent hundreds of years of experience in the Coinstar money order packaging field.

Steve and Mike are present on a daily basis and readily accessible to address the needs of customers, suppliers and staff – all three parties being the foundation stone of a highly successful organisation.

FOOD PACKAGING

Each food process plant is different and usually the requirements of point of sale packaging are various also.
